At CENN we recognise that climate change is one of the biggest threats facing the South Caucasus – environment and people. We are committed to raising awareness of the issue at all levels of society and bring climate variability into all project planning processes.
Our efforts in climate change adaptation and disaster mitigation include a development of flexible and resilient societies in rural areas of Georgia capable of coping with the impacts of climate change.
We are aiming at enhancing local capacity and regional cooperation for climate change adaptation and biodiversity conservation in Georgia and the South Caucasus.
In order to make our communities more resilient, CENN has developed online portal of natural hazards and risks in Georgia.
