CENN Green Cafés offer a relaxed environment to meet and discuss important global issues. Guest speakers at our most recent event included a Swiss lawyer and carbon financier undertaking a carbon-neutral motorcycle ride together from Beijing to Istanbul and a British environmental economist and writer cycling around the world.
CENN recognize that the populations of the South Caucasus are not the biggest contributors to greenhouse gas emissions; however, these countries are especially vulnerable to the effects of climate change. It is essential that everybody worldwide takes action if we are to successfully combat these climate impacts. Through simple everyday lifestyle choices we can significantly reduce our carbon emissions and environmental footprint.
