Description of project

The overall aim of the action is to present a general overview of the Country's commitment toward the development of its cooperation with the EU and the implementation of the ENP agreements and associated Action Plan.

The specific objectives are:

  1. To increase the knowledge of about 30 Georgian CSOs on the European Neighbourhood Policy and Partnership Instrument and monitoring skills of the EC assistance;

  2. To facilitate active involvement of CSOs in the Mid-Term Review of the ENPI, the drafting of priorities for the new National Indicative Programme (NIP) and related financial aid;

  3. To promote CSO's recommendations towards the national governments, EC country delegations and other EU institutions.

The overall aim of the project is to facilitate the physical and environmental improvements of IDP settlements and thereby decrease social exclusion and to create a network of stakeholders/partners supplying sustainable solutions to the problems found in IDP settlements.
 
The specific objectives are:

  1. To launch a campaign network to improve conditions for IDPs

  2. To improve the physical and aesthetic environment of IDP settlements

  3. To promote community development and participation in new IDP settlements
