The Niko Ketskhoveli Award is a national competition for school eco-clubs. The main goal of this competition is to show you that you have the power to create change with your own hands and improve both your natural and social environment. By joining, you will become an active participant in the process of sustainable development.
The 2025–2026 Theme: The Source of Life (SDG 6). We all know that from space, Earth isn’t a green planet – it’s a blue one. This beautiful color is defined entirely by water. The term “Source of Life” is not a metaphor; water literally created the necessary conditions for life on our planet. Scientists agree that the mere presence of water automatically signifies the potential for life.
Access to clean water is one of the most fundamental rights of modern people. Unfortunately, a significant portion of the global population does not have this right. Due to water pollution and scarcity, humanity is facing a major, global catastrophe. This crisis is fueled by climate change, the irrational management of water resources, and, most critically, water pollution.
You can be the person who brings about significant change. Join the competition today, get involved, gain valuable experience, and win prizes!
The Niko Ketskhoveli School Award is implemented by CENN as part of the “Green Caucasus” project, with financial support from the Austrian Development Cooperation.
