Renewable and Non‑Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency

Guidebook for young people

These guidelines on green transition include informational and educational materials designed for young people, students, teachers, and anyone interested in Energy Sources, their evolution and the future of sustainable energy.

The publication introduces readers to non‑renewable resources -coal, natural gas, oil, and nuclear energy; their formation, use, and negative environmental impacts. Readers will also learn about renewable energy sources such as solar, wind, hydropower, geothermal, and biomass energy as sustainable alternatives.

Special attention is devoted to energy efficiency as a practice of rational energy use. Readers will learn about household, transportation, and industrial energy‑efficiency measures that promote energy savings and cost reductions.
