The campaign “End Plastic Pollution” has brought together ten organizations from across Georgia. Today, participating companies and organizations held their first working meeting on plastic waste audit production and green procurement.
Campaign participants represent sectors such as hospitality, restaurant businesses, consulting services, agriculture, youth, and environmental protection.
During the initial workshop, leading businesses and organizations from various sectors, including “Silk Hospitality,” the “Georgian Farmers’ Association,” “Tbilisi Sheraton Metekhi Palace,” and “Irao,” shared their experiences with the participants regarding the planning and implementation of organizational audits on plastic waste, green procurement, supplier analysis, and behavior change-oriented activities.

The campaign is being implemented by CENN, in cooperation with the Ministry of Environment Protection and Agriculture of Georgia, with the support of Norway and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP).
