28-29 March 2017, with support of the European Neighborhood Program for Agricultural and Rural Development (ENPARD), in the framework of EU-funded project “Empowering Modern Research Practices of Regional Agriculture-Related Institutions” a close-out workshop took place in Kakheti, at Lopota Lake Resort.
The aim of the workshop was to share experience and strengthen the cross regional network of project beneficiary universities and evaluate the project implementation.
Presentations delivered on the project implementation, research analysis, followed by a group discussion regarding future development of the agriculture faculties of the regional agriculture-related research institutions.
Academic staff and students of Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University, Samtskhe-Javakheti State University and Telavi Iakob Gogebashvili State University participated in the event.
The workshop started on 28 March 2017, at 10:00 am at the Lopota Lake Resort and finished on 29 March 2017, at 14:00 pm with the visit to Telavi Iakob Gogebashvili State University demo plot.
The project “Empowering Modern Research Practices of the Regional Agriculture-Related Institutions” is supported by the European Union through ENPARD programme. The project is being implemented by the Georgian Rural Development Department of the Georgian Institute of Public Affairs in partnership with the Caucasus Environmental NGO Network (CENN) and PMC Research Centre.
