Within the framework of the USAID Pankisi Community Links Activity (PCL) program, Chemonics International Inc., in partnership with CENN, a series of Business to Business (B2B) meetings for local entrepreneurs in Pankisi continues!
B2B Meetings conducted in March for the Pankisi entrepreneurs were held in order to inform about entrepreneurship opportunities in areas such as tourism and online portals in the tourism industry, beekeeping, grant opportunities, and more. Four meetings were held in particular, with the following topics:
March 4: Panel discussion with the core tourism industry representatives, including: National Tourism Administration – Tamuna Kakhidze; DMO Kakheti – Tiniko Khanjaliashvili; Georgian Ecotourism Association – Ilia Okromelidze; Georgian Glamping Association – Shalva Asatiani; International Center for the Arts – Lela Khartishvili; Georgian Gastronomy Association – Dali Tsatava.
March 5: Round table format meeting with business entities working in the field of tourism, in particular: Application of Georgian tourist routes BILIKI – Tornike Tsiramua; Booking.com – Maia Mardaleishvili; Melaanian Vintage-Guest House – Teona Taboridze.
March 25: Meetings with Keda and Akhmeta Local Development Group (LAG) Program Managers – Nino Gaprindashvili and Giorgi Santuriani, as well as with Giorgi Oboladze, Chairman of Keda LAG. The successful examples implemented by Keda LAG and ongoing and planned events of Akhmeta LAG were discussed.
March 26: Meeting with the president of the Ambrolauri Beekeepers Association – Lasha Gagoshidze. The participants shared their experiences and addressed prospects for advancement in the field of beekeeping in Georgia and abroad.
