On July 1, organized by CENN and supported by USAID and the Austrian Development Agency (ADC), a training for regional business associations was held on the topic – Institutional Strengthening of the Association and Proper Management of the Organization.
The training was led by Natalia Bakhtadze-Englaender, co-founder and advisor of the Georgian Ecotourism Association.
The training covered topics such as: the importance and function of the association in tourism, organizational structure of the association, the role of stakeholders in the development of the association, their forms of involvement and cooperation.
The training was held in a hybrid format and was attended by 8 associations on spot from 4 different regions of Georgia, and 2 associations and 1 DMO from Kakheti were involved online.
The training was organized within CENN’s ongoing projects: Sustainable Forest Management for Climate Resilient Rural Development, supported by the Austrian Development Cooperation (ADC) and Digital Caucasus, implemented via a grant awarded by the USAID Bureau for Europe and Eurasia, Economic Development, Governance and Enterprise Growth project.
