April 26 – 29, 2022. Bulachauri Green Center. CENN, with the EU support, in cooperation with UNDP and within the framework of the “Rural Communication and Awareness Campaign for Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Technologies” initiative, hosted the Energy-efficient Technologies Ideathon in Bulachauri Green Center.
Twenty-six participants from the target municipalities – Khulo, Keda, Akhalkalaki, Borjomi, Kazbegi, Tetritskaro, Dedoplistskaro, and Lagodekhi – took part in the Energy-efficient Technologies Ideathon.
Within the Ideathon, participants gained knowledge and experience in energy-efficient technologies. Furthermore, during the field visit to the Bazaleti Green Engineering Center, they had the opportunity to learn more about the principles of operating energy-efficient technologies.
As a result of the knowledge gained, the participants, with the help of facilitators and experts, learned about and developed ideas for the following energy-efficient technologies: Thermal insulation; Handmade solar water heaters; Solar factory water heaters; Solar air heaters.
