From April 27th – May 6th, CENN, in the framework of the “Achieving Land Degradation Neutrality Targets of Georgia through Restoration and Sustainable Management of Degraded Pasturelands” project, concluded interactive training sessions for Information-Consulting Centres of Rural Development Agency (RDA) staff from the Kakheti, Mtskheta-Mtianeti and Kvemo Kartli regions on the topic of effective communication and facilitation.
The aim of the training was to share strategic planning and effective communication techniques with the participants. 25 staff members of RDA obtained more information regarding the practical aspects of training preparation, such as concluding a training module, group dynamics management and digital presentation preparation techniques.
The “Achieving Land Degradation Neutrality Targets of Georgia through Restoration and Sustainable Management of Degraded Pasturelands” project is initiated by the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia and is financed by the Global Environment Facility (GEF). The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) implements the project. The executive organization is the Regional Environmental Centre for the Caucasus (REC Caucasus) and the project partner is CENN.
