A 5-day green feminist camp for young people was held at the Bulachauri Green Center, organized by CENN and GrlzWave and supported by MELLEMFOLKELIGT SAMVIRKE ActionAid, within the framework of the New Democracy Fund-funded project “Seeds of Change: Intersectional Green Feminism and Youth Activism in Georgia.”
The camp aimed to empower Georgian youth in the areas of environmental protection, gender equality, feminism, and electoral issues. Campers engaged in interactive workshops, discussions, and hands-on activities to deepen their understanding of these critical topics and enable them to work effectively in these areas in the future.

Georgian youths were joined by Danish youths who were on an exchange visit to Georgia. The camp and the exchange tour provided a valuable opportunity to strengthen ties between Georgian and Danish youth and to share insights about the current civil society and activism situations in their respective countries.
Camp participants also developed green and feminist election promises and recommendations to offer to political parties participating in the 2024 elections.
15 Georgian and 9 Danish youth took part in the camp.
