CENN, within the ongoing “Climate-Resilient Agriculture – PRAISE Marneuli” project, funded by the Swiss organisation HEKS/EPER, implemented a school campaign in Marneuli municipality.
More than 100 students from 18 public schools participated in the school campaign. Members of the “Girls’ Empowerment Club” led meetings and shared with peers their experiences and practical examples related to civil activism, environmental protection, and climate-resilient agriculture issues. Young people had an opportunity to discuss challenges in the municipality regarding the outlined thematic issues and their individual contributions in addressing these problems.
The school campaign was conducted within the “Climate Resilient Agriculture – PRAISE Marneuli” project, which is implemented by CENN with the financial support of the Swiss organization HEKS/EPER. The project’s overall objective is to support income generation opportunities for vulnerable populations in Marneuli municipality by developing and promoting environmentally friendly and climate-resilient agricultural (CRA) practices.
