CENN with the support of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and Norway, invites schools to participate in plastic waste management training as part of the project “End Plastic Pollution in Georgia.”
The trainings aim to raise awareness within the school community about the importance of proper and circular waste management and to share practical examples of the consequences of plastic pollution in order to encourage its reduction.
Based on the applications received, 20 schools will be selected to receive individual training in November, December, and January, both online and in person.
Students aged 10-18 from the following regions of Georgia can participate in the training: Kvemo Kartli, Samtskhe-Javakheti, Adjara, Imereti, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti, and Tbilisi.
It is recommended that 20 students from each school participate in the training.
Based on the knowledge gained, each participating school must prepare a one-minute informational video about proper waste management within one week after the training.
The 3 schools with the best videos will be awarded thematic prizes. The winning schools will be announced at the end of the marathon.
