The members of the Ozurgeti, Chokhatauri, and Lanchkhuti Local Action Groups (LAGs) are actively engaged in local development as part of the ongoing “Green Guria – Supporting Local Democracy and Rural Development for Inclusive and Resilient Green Growth” project, supported by the European Union.
The Guria LAG members have initiated the development of a local development strategy. During the second working meeting dedicated to this strategy, LAG members identified economic development and the support of small entrepreneurs as priority topics. During the working meeting, Guria LAG members highlighted the needs, challenges, and development perspectives of local entrepreneurs. As part of the session, a SWOT analysis was conducted.
The “Green Guria – Supporting Local Democracy and Rural Development for Inclusive and Resilient Green Growth” project is implemented by CENN in cooperation with partner organisations: the Young Pedagogues’ Union, the Institute of Democracy, and the Local Action Group of KEDA (LAG), supported by the European Union within the European Neighbourhood Program for Rural and Agricultural Development ENPARD IV.
