CENN, with the financial support of the Swiss organization HEKS/EPER, hosted an exhibition and a meeting on the topic “Marneuli without plastic” together with the “Girls’ Empowerment Club” created within the framework of the “Climate-Resilient Agriculture – PRAISE Marneuli” project.
Five eco clubs of Marneuli took part in the meeting. The participants exhibited decorative items made from plastic waste, took part in a discussion on environmental issues and concluded the meeting with the screening and discussion of short documentaries.
The purpose of the meeting was to raise the awareness of young people living in Marneuli municipality and to encourage them to implement environmental initiatives in the local community.
The event was held within the framework of the “Climate-Resilient Agriculture – PRAISE Marneuli” project, which is implemented by CENN with the financial support of the Swiss organization HEKS/EPER. The aim of the project is to increase the income generation capacity of the population in Marneuli municipality by developing and promoting environmentally friendly and climate-resilient agricultural (CRA) practices.
