Within the framework of the EU-supported project “Strengthening Civil Society for Inclusive and Green Post-COVID Recovery,” CENN organized a media tour in Samtskhe-Javakheti and Kvemo Kartli regions.
The media tour sought to raise public awareness of EU-supported initiatives in Kvemo Kartli and Samtskhe-Javakheti that enhance social services and improve living conditions for vulnerable populations, including elderly people, persons with disabilities, children with special needs, victims of violence, and women.
The media tour brought together 16 representatives from central and regional media organizations, who visited EU-financed projects on the ground and explored their outcomes and relevance to local communities.
By participating in the media tour, journalists automatically entered a competition in which they created multimedia content—videos, audio pieces, and written articles—about these initiatives. A total of 13 participants submitted materials that were subsequently shared on their own media platforms.
