Within the EU-funded project Empowering Civil Society to Promote Inclusive and Post-COVID Recovery CENN announces a competition for 18-29-year-old youth from Kvemo Kartli and Samtskhe-Javakheti regions to participate in a 6-month program for civic participation. Civic Participation Program aims to support young people in overcoming socio-economic problems at the local level.
Within the framework of the program, the participants will undergo training in various fields, such as writing and managing projects, advocacy, effective use of existing resources, planning and implementation of campaigns, and others. Selected young people will work with mentors and experts to develop projects that will be implemented locally.
The program contains 3 stages:
- Civil educational camp: July 31 – August 4, 2024, Bulachauri Green Centre: within the civil educational camp participants will have the opportunity to meet peers, get thematic lectures, draft project ideas that relate to their local community problem-solving, and compose relevant project applications;
- Mentorship: September 1-10, 2024: with the involvement of thematic experts participants will have the opportunity to improve their project ideas and finalise application forms;
- Project financing and implementation: September – December 2024: During this phase, successful project applications developed by young people will be funded and implemented.
Youth aged 18-29 from Kvemo-Kartli and Samtskhe-Javakheti regions, who are interested and motivated to actively get involved in solving local socioeconomic problems, are welcome to participate.
Those who want to participate should fill out the electronic application form.
