CENN is pleased to announce a call for applications for the Financial Assistance Competition aimed at supporting initiatives that promote Waste Prevention and Circular Economy (WP&CE) practices in the Kakheti region and the Autonomous Republic of Adjara.
Objectives of the Competition
The specific objective of the competition is to implement innovative, practical, and sustainable projects in the target regions that will contribute to:

Demonstrating WP&CE Best Practices: Projects that demonstrate effective and innovative waste prevention and circular economy approaches in practice, such as rational resource efficiency, waste prevention, waste reduction, reuse, separation/recycling, and advanced technological solutions (including software, digital tools, applications, etc.);

Creating Green Value Chains: Developing sustainable economic relationships and practices that maximize resource efficiency, minimize waste generation, and extend product lifecycles;

Encouraging Behavioral Change in Society: Re-evaluating daily habits and fostering a responsible attitude toward resource consumption through waste prevention and circular economy (WP&CE) practices.
Key Terms and Criteria
Target Regions: Kakheti Region and Adjara A/R.
Target Sector: Non-entrepreneurial (non-commercial) legal entities (NGOs / Civil Society Organizations).
Priority Waste Streams:
- Packaging waste;
- Biodegradable waste;
- Construction and demolition waste.
Note: A project proposal may focus on one, two, or all three waste streams combined.

Note: Late submissions and/or hand-written application forms will not be accepted.

An online information session will be held on September 22 at 11:00 AM for interested candidates.
