Within the framework of the EU-funded “Green Guria – Supporting Local Democracy and Rural Development for Inclusive and Resilient Green Growth” project, CENN, together with partner organisations: the Young Pedagogues’ Union, the Institute of Democracy, and the Local Action Group of KEDA (LAG), offers a Regional Development guide.
The manual was developed taking into account the European experience of regional and rural development and the LEADER approaches, which are used in the implementation of the project. The manual focuses on the village as not only the place of production for agricultural raw materials, but also on other equally important functions.
The guide will help raise awareness about rural and regional development. Its use is recommended for all stakeholders involved in the project and as an additional educational resource for students of higher and vocational schools.
