Democracy and Good Governance is one of the crucial issues for the South Caucasus region for further development. After collapsing the Soviet Union, the region, including Georgia started independent development on the European path.
CENN believes the democracy and good governances goes beyond the government and actively works with various stakeholders including private sector, civil society, media, independent activists, etc. We acknowledge the importance of effective, transparent and accountable public institutions and strive for strengthening democratic governance systems. With the partnership of international donors and organisations, we improve government capacities on local, regional and national level, actively contribute to inclusive policy-making and ensure involvement of vulnerable, marginalised and disadvantaged groups, including women, youth, minorities, IDPs, people with disabilities, LGBTQI+, eco-migrants in decision making process.
