Climate change is already clearly evident in the Caucasus region. There is a noticeable increase of average annual temperature and changes in annual precipitation patterns. The region is prone to natural disasters and the climate change intensifies these processes.
To overcome the adverse impacts and facilitate adaptation to climate change in different sectors, CENN is supporting governments to introduce the climate-smart and resilient practices, conducting research on climate change in close cooperation with the research institutions and providing results along with recommendations to the relevant stakeholders, piloting climate-smart practices and developing the issue-based constructive dialogue mechanisms among various stakeholders.
