With the financial support of HEKS-EPER, the Marneuli Girls’ Empowerment Club twinned with Eco-clubs of Gori public schools within the framework of the CENN the “Climate Resilient Agriculture – PRAISE Marneuli” project.
The Marneuli Girls’ Empowerment Club implemented a working visit to the city of Gori. Members of the Girls’ Club visited the Gori Innovation Hub and met the members of the Eco-Clubs of Gori Public Schools. Eco-clubs and the Girls’ Club presented their activities, discussed the challenges and needs of young people in the municipalities of Marneuli and Gori, and the role of youth in developing their communities. At the end of the meeting, representatives of the eco-clubs and Girls’ Clubs signed a memorandum of understanding and agreed to implement joint initiatives.
The visit of the Girls’ Empowerment Club was implemented within the “Climate Resilient Agriculture – PRAISE Marneuli” project, which is implemented by CENN with the financial support of HEKS-EPER. The overall objective of the project is to support income generation opportunities of vulnerable populations in Marneuli Municipality through the development and promotion of environmentally friendly and climate-resilient agricultural (CRA) practices.
