CENN, with the support of the European Union and in cooperation with the Journalism Resource Center (JRC), invites journalists from all over Georgia to discuss and popularize the topic of youth, in particular, the so-called NEET youth groups.
The media competition is initiated within the EU-funded “EU4Youth – “Social Entrepreneurship Ecosystem Development (SEED) for Green Growth” project and aims to raise awareness about youth challenges among media and society. The competition focuses on NEET youth, which is commonly defined as a group of young people who are not employed, not in education, and generally not active in public life.
3 winners will be announced after the end of the competition. Competition prizes are awarded in the following 3 nominations:
- The best audio-visual material (prize: 800 GEL voucher for technical equipment)
- The best audio material (prize: 800 GEL voucher for technical equipment)
- The best text-graphic material (prize: 800 GEL voucher for technical equipment)
How to apply:
Please send the competition applications by February 19 to the following e-mail addresses: jrcgeorgia@gmail.com and communications@cenn.org. Please include “CENN/JRC Media Competition” in the subject line of the email.
Please send the materials in a word document format including the following information: your name, surname, the title of the position, place of work (media platform), phone number, contact e-mail and a link to the published material (if the link does not provide information on the date of publication, please indicate the date).
The event is initiated within the EU-funded regional “EU4Youth: Social Entrepreneurship Ecosystem Development (SEED) for Green Growth” project, which is implemented by CENN in partnership with KRDF in Georgia and Green Lane NGO in Armenia. The project empowers disadvantaged youth in Georgia and Armenia to successfully transition from education to work by developing their Social Entrepreneurship and Green Innovation skills.
