Within the framework of the GWC-WASH-2 and the EU–supported “Water for the Poor” projects, CENN continues to distribute informational materials about COVID-19 to Armenian and Azerbaijani-populated villages in the Bolnisi and Marneuli municipalities in order to increase access to protective medical equipment.
In addition to disseminating information about protective measures against the coronavirus, with the cooperation of the Ministry of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Accommodation and Refugees of Georgia, protective medical and sanitizer equipment was delivered to more than 500 beneficiaries, among whom are large families and socially vulnerable citizens.
CENN is ready to continue the active fight against the health crisis caused by the coronavirus pandemic and provide appropriate assistance to citizens as much as possible.
The project – “WASH Initiative for Socially Vulnerable Women and Children Living in Rural Georgia” – is being implemented by CENN with the financial support of the Global Water Challenge and the Coca-Cola Foundation (TCCF).
