From October 13-22, Bulachauri Green Center hosted a Regional Green Camp for the youth living in Georgia and Armenia. The European Union supported the camp, and CENN organized it with the help of partners.
Participants were trained on entrepreneurship, social entrepreneurship, environmental issues, sustainable development topics, circular economy, and green growth. Furthermore, they visited social enterprises operating in Tbilisi and Gori municipality, went to the Gori Innovation Knowledge Hub, and became acquainted with the initiatives that have been implemented by the hub since 2021.
As a result of the camp, the participants along with their mentors worked on social business ideas and presented them to the jury afterward, factoring in the local context and issues.
We believe that strengthening the connection between Armenian and Georgian youth contributes to social and economic growth as well as sustainable development in the South Caucasus Region.
